What We Believe

At Canon Point Church, everything centers on Jesus. Here are the essentials of our faith:

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word and the final authority for faith and life.

We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ is God, the Son, fully God and fully man, who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again, and is coming again.

We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus alone—not by our works.

We believe the Holy Spirit gives new life, power, and spiritual gifts to every believer.

We believe humanity is created in God’s image, but broken by sin and in need of a Savior.

We believe marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman, ordained by God to reflect Christ’s love for His Church.

We believe the Church is God’s family, called to love Him, love people, and make disciples.

We believe Jesus will return imminently to rapture His Church, and later will reign forever.

We believe heaven and hell are real, and every person will spend forever in one or the other.
